Today, Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in India. Samsung is providing four years of upgrades for its Galaxy S22 phone series. For the Indian market, Samsung has recently introduced the Galaxy S22 series, which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. A 6.1-inch AMOLED display comes on the Galaxy S22, and a 6.6-inch AMOLED display comes on the S22 Plus. But, first, let’s talk about its price in India.

Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ & Galaxy S22 Ultra Price

For the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage base model, India’s Samsung Galaxy S22 price is set at Rs. 72,999. There is also an 8GB + 256GB model available for Rs. 76,999.

For the Samsung Galaxy S22+, the starting price starts at Rs. 84,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 88,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model.

Starting prices for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 12GB + 256GB are Rs. 1,09,999. In addition, there is a model with 12GB + 512GB storage that costs Rs. 1,18,999.

The Galaxy S22 and S22+ come in three colors – Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and the Galaxy S22 Ulta comes in Burgundy, Phantom Black, and Phantom White.

Samsung has not yet announced when the Galaxy S22 series will be available in India, but pre-orders will begin on February 23.

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 sports a 3,700mAh battery that supports wireless charging up to 15W and charging via USB up to 25W.
However, on the Galaxy S22+, you will find a bigger battery, 4,500mAh, that supports wired charging up to 45W along with wireless charging at 15W. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy S22+ includes Wi-Fi 6E and Ultra-Wideband (UWB).

In-game mode, this smartphone has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. In addition, there is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protecting the phone. The Galaxy S22 Ultra comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset that delivers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra has an internal storage capacity of up to 512GB. There is no microSD card slot for further expansion. The S22 Ultra is the first smartphone with an integrated S Pen in the Galaxy S series.

The phone’s battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh, and it supports wired charging at 45W and wireless charging at 15W. Other wireless-charging-enabled devices can also be charged with the phone’s Wireless PowerShare feature.
