Peter Lau, OnePlus’ CEO, recently confirmed that the much-anticipated, OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in January 2022. It remains to be seen what day the company will launch the flagship phone. Lau said the upcoming flagship smartphone from OnePlus will feature LTPO 2.0 display technology. LTPO displays are made of polycrystalline oxide (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) and provide various refresh rates.

LTPO 2.0 has a lot of potentials, but what exactly it could bring is not yet clear. The new panel, according to Lau, could offer better smoothness and color accuracy. A standard version of the OnePlus 10 Pro may also come equipped with the next-generation LTPO panel that offers variable refresh rates of up to 120Hz.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and feature a triple-camera setup comprising a 48MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. Oneplus 10 pro may include a custom OxygenOS interface layered over Android 12. There will be a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate on the new Oneplus 10 pro. Oneplus 10 pro may be powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports fast-charging up to 125W.
