Today, the new iQOO U5 5G was launched in China, part of iQOO’s U-series smartphones. As the successor to the iQOO U3, announced earlier this year, the iQOO U5 5G has arrived. A 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 695 processor, and dual rear cameras with 50-megapixels are key features.
The iQOO U5 5G color options include Dark Black, Silver White, and Magic Blue. In addition to the 4GB RAM/128GB storage configuration, the device also offers 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage. Chinese consumers will be able to pre-order the handset starting December 24, 2021. A price has not yet been announced for the device. Well, In terms of global availability, iQOO has not said anything.

Display and Body Design
iQOO U5 5g has a dimension of 164 x 75.8 x 8.3 mm and weighs 185 g. On the iQOO U5, an OLED display measures 6.58 inches. In addition to the Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate, there is a water-drop notch on display. There is a 20:9 aspect ratio and ~401 PPI density.

iQOO U5 5g gets a dual-camera setup and supports LED flash, HDR, panorama. There is a 50MP main sensor with a dual-camera system with f/1.8 and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4. For selfies and video calls, the device has an 8MP front camera.

It runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor. The iQOO U5 has an Android 11 operating system overlaid with the iQOO UI 1.0.

The handset is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 18W. In terms of connectivity, this smartphone gets Wi-fi I 802.11, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO USB Type-C 2.0.
